Swimmers hit the water at the weekend to raise cash for research into multiple sclerosis.
Fundraisers for the The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Bermuda’s Swimathon gathered at the National Sports Centre in Devonshire to mark the start of a month dedicated to helping find a cure for the muscle-wasting condition.
The event was held on Saturday, with swimmers of all ages doing laps at the aquatics and fitness centre.
It was the third year of the event, which funds MS community education programmes as well as members’ medical costs.
