A boat charter company will launch a new membership club to encourage Bermudians back on to the water.

True Bermuda Charters said the Club True programme will offer discounts, perks and special events to members — with a portion of funds set aside to host charters for Bermuda’s healthcare workers.

Joshua Crockwell, co-owner and captain, said: “True Bermuda Charters is committed to helping Bermudians and locals ease back into normalcy in a safe, affordable way.

“Now, more than ever, it is going to be crucial to support each other as we look towards the future and learning to be socially distant while still being social for the people of Bermuda’s mental well being and sense of normalcy.”

Nicole Minnich, co-owner and operations manager, added: “We are making an investment in our community and their families, and a commitment to help power through together.”

Mr Crockwell said the programme launches this week with members to receive a 25 per cent discount, invitations to on-board chef tastings and access to tubing, waterskiing, wakeboarding and shipwreck snorkelling.

Silver, gold and platinum memberships are available with different costs and benefits.

Those interested in the programme can sign up at www.truebermuda.com.
