City Hall to open five days a week

The City of Hamilton advises the public that opening hours for walk-in customers at City Hall will be extended to five days a week, Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 3:00pm, as of Monday, June 8th, 2020.

Customers entering City Hall and its reception area are reminded that safety guidelines, including the wearing of masks, social distancing and sanitizing of hands, are in place and signage has been posted. The health and safety of the City’s staff and customers are of utmost importance as Bermuda recovers from the COVID pandemic. City officials will be on hand to ensure that customers are adhering to the safety guidelines. Customers are also asked to use credit or debit cards as opposed to cash, where possible.

The reception at the City Works Depot on Laffan Street remains open, Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm but visitors are asked to call ahead before visiting their point of contact. The Depot can be reached on 295-6446 for general enquiries. The same safety procedures at City Hall will apply at the Works Depot.

The public is encouraged to explore the City’s website – www.cityofhamilton.bm - where many transactions can be completed online, including permit applications and payments, thus eliminating the need to visit City Hall.
