A new water park at a hotel has made a splash despite the economic impact of Covid-19, the owners said.

Kinezumi Water Sports, which opened at Rosewood Bermuda in Hamilton Parish on July 24, is a large inflatable floating park with a variety of obstacles and games.

Antwan Albuoy, the part-owner and general manager, said: “It’s been doing great. We’ve been overwhelmed with positive reviews. It’s attracted a wide variety of people — families, couples, we’ve had birthday parties and a few private functions.

“The most popular feature has been the air pillows, where one person sits on one end and another jumps on to the other end launching them off the pillow and into the water.”

Mr Albuoy predicted the park will do much better next year if the threat of Covid-19 is lifted.

The park will close on September 7 and is due to reopen in April or May.
