Allied World launches gift bag programme
An insurance company launched a gift bag initiative to support 11 small businesses struggling during tough economic times.
Allied World Bermuda was inspired by the #ChooseBDA campaign to thank local brokers and employees by creating 225 gift bags packed with local products.
Colm Singleton, head of Allied World Bermuda, said: “These initiatives were a great way to remind everyone of the talented individuals and incredible products we have right here in Bermuda,
“We know that small businesses have been hard hit by Covid-19, so being able to purchase their products and promote the business was one way we thought we could help out.”
Tyrone Smith, co-owner of Oatbelievable Granola Bermuda, said: “We were thrilled to have been asked by Allied World to be a part of their recent #ChooseBDA gift bag giveaway.
“As a small business, we think it is important to promote awareness to what is available locally. We were a part of a diverse offering, highlighting the talents and ingenuity of local entrepreneurs.”
