Butterflies will raise funds for hospice

A kaleidoscope of 250 blue butterflies will be among the attractions at a fundraising event this weekend.
Bermudian artist Nicky Gurret created the installation at the Crow Lane roundabout last month as a symbol of hope for the Agape House support group Friends of Hospice.
Now the butterflies, handmade out of aluminium, will be on sale at a fundraising event, Butterfly Blast, at Victoria Park, on Saturday.
Butterfly Blast, from noon to 4pm, will feature fun activities, food stalls and live performances from musical groups including the all-female percussion band Coral Beats.
The theme of butterflies replaced the traditional Rubber Duck Derby as the key fundraiser for the hospice this year.
