Bermuda celebrate their win over the Dominican Republic

Bermuda will learn their next Concacaf Nations League opponents at a gala draw in Las Vegas tonight.

Kyle Lightbourne’s side already know they will face one of Mexico, the United States, Costa Rica or Honduras after qualifying for League A of the competition.

Bermuda finished fifth in the Nations League qualifying standings with three wins and a defeat, including a 3-1 victory over the Dominican Republic last weekend to wrap up their campaign.

The qualifying round decided which of the three tiers that teams will enter in the Nations League. Tonight’s draw will divide each tier into groups.

The top six in the qualifying standings slot into League A, along with Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Trinidad & Tobago, and the US, which skipped the preliminary round by virtue of having qualified for the six-team final round of World Cup qualifying last year.

The group stage will be played in the Fifa international match windows in September, October and November, with the championship set for March next year.

League A will be split into four pools of three, with the winner of each group advancing to the semi-finals. The bottom team in each pool will be relegated to League B for the next edition of the tournament.
