Committee to review NSC policy
Bermuda Football Association's (BFA) youth training will resume at the National Sports Centre (NSC).
A joint statement between the BFA and the Ministry of Sport yesterday confirmed that "some teams" from the BFA Academy programme (for Under-13 to Under-17 footballers) would have "immediate access, free of charge to the NSC so that our best footballers can begin to train again".
In addition, it was announced that both the ministry and the BFA had agreed to the appointment of a committee to review the NSC's Training Policy and "make recommendations to the minister as appropriate".
The committee will be comprised of representatives of the principle users of the Frog Lane complex, the ministry and the NSC Board of Trustees.
A conflict recently erupted over various issues concerning the NSC and the BFA contested a number of expenses related to their use of the stadium.
It was also learnt at the time that the BFA were prohibited from using the facility because of outstanding debts.
