Gibbons hearing adjourned
Bailey?s Bay Cricket Club coach Noel Gibbons had his hearing before a Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB) disciplinary committee adjourned on Thursday night when the umpire he is alleged to have verbally abused failed to show up for the proceedings.
Gibbons has been accused of verbally abusing umpire Richard (Red) Burrows at Sea Breeze Oval on August 27 during a heated Premier Division KO Cup clash between Bay and Somerset Cricket Club.
It is also understood Gibbons landed himself in further hot water with local cricket?s governing body for comments he made to associated with the controversial match.
The former top all-rounder has now denied making certain comments to the Press.
Only last week Somerset pair Reid Jones and David Gibbs received four and two match suspensions after being found guilty of hurling abusive language towards the veteran umpire.
