Shaun Goater grabbed a late equaliser for Manchester City last night after the Blues came from two down to secure a draw at lowly Scunthorpe United.

The pre-season friendly was held at the Third Division club's Glanford Park ground.

United went ahead with goals from Kim Grant and Stuart Thom before City pulled one back after 56 minutes.

Goater notched the equaliser four minutes from time to preserve City's unbeaten record after two warm-up games. They beat Halifax Town 2-1 on Saturday
