BERMUDA'S young martial arts stars were in action last weekend during the popular Skippy Peanut Butter KICK competition which was staged at the Pembroke Sunday School.

This is the 21st edition of the competition put on by the Bermuda Karate Institute and 26 junior martial artists competed.

Forms grandchampions were Roger Dill (novice boys), Niara Foster (novice girls), Tyler Dill (intermediate boys), and Alexis Trott (intermediate girls).

Kent Bean won a close 3/2 first place over Kaelin Cox for advanced boys, and Kaelin was also the unopposed gold medalist in weapons. Fighting winners were Aaron Spencer (7/8 years), Jomeko Mallory (9-12 years) and Che Durham (12-14 years).
