The Eagles have landed!

With one small step forward in the FA Cup, Somerset Eagles can now make one giant leap towards the Premier Division with a victory over Boulevard Blazers tomorrow.

The two rivals clash at White Hill Field for First Division supremacy with Boulevard currently topping the standings on goal difference.

"A win would definitely boost our morale and add more confidence to the team as we head into the break," said Eagles Albert Dowling this week.

"We have the potential to become a Premier Division team, it's just a matter of bringing the best out of them."

Eagles, still soaring from their epic come from behind win over neighbours and nemesis, Somerset Trojans, in the FA Cup last Sunday, will be looking to extend their rich vein of form and put the pressure on their opponents heading into the second half of the season.

"They talk about promotion, which is positive, but it's the input that will get you there," added the coach.

"Undoubtedly the win over Trojans has lifted the players to another level of thinking and I'm anticipating a change in their attitudes, commitment and overall dedication."

Eagles will be without the services of Sean Dill who was sent off during Sunday's win, but the coach is not overly bothered by this setback as his team will welcome the return of Jazane Smith and Dion Woolridge to the line-up.
