New ?swim? suit a second saver
It might leave him feeling a bit chilly, but Patrick Singleton?s new race suit could be a second-saver.
In keeping with the new fashion among skeleton competitors, the Bermudian will be slipping into an all-in-one swimsuit for his world championship bid.
Hit by holes in his normal suit, and desperate for sponsorship of any kind, Singleton has hooked up with Speedo, more famous for their work with swimmers, and is the recipient of four $250 all-in-ones in which to throw himself down the track.
?It can get a bit chilly, but they do the job,? said Singleton, whose relative inexperience in the sport has him playing catch-up on the equipment front with his rivals.
?Things like better race suits can shave fractions off your time and in this sport every little helps.?
