A group of young football players are about to go on a trip of their dreams.

Hamilton Parish youth coach Irving Burgess will be taking the players to England this weekend for a training camp at Manchester United, last season's winners of the Premiership and Champions League.

And that is not all the kids will be doing on their trip.

"We are also taking them to see two matches, Manchester City's game against AC Milan and also Chelsea's match against Portsmouth," said Burgess this week .

All the players are Parish Peppers bar one who is with Dandy Town.

"It is a group of six players," said Burgess.

"We leave on Friday (today) and after we get to England on Saturday I am going to take them to watch Manchester City's game against AC Milan. Then on Sunday I will drop them off at the United facility. They do not allow parents or the kids' coaches into the camp. The kids will be with other kids from all around the world for the week's camp. They will eat, drink and sleep football. It is going to be great for them."

On the last day of the camp all the kids travel to Old Trafford for the prize presentation. "I and the parents can go to that," said Burgess adding that all of the kids are either nine or 10 years old.

The Sunday before returning to Bermuda the group will attend Chelsea's match against FA Cup winners Portsmouth.

"This is going to be a real eye opener for them and they are all excited about the trip," said Burgess. "We have two sponsors, White's and Slam Dunk, who have helped out a great deal."

And perhaps scouts may spot the kids at the camp as well.

"Clubs in England look at kids this age ¿ when you are 18 years old you are too old for them. Right now it is the best time to get kids out of Bermuda. Hopefully we can arrange more trips like this," said Burgess.

Going are Macquille Walker, Tian Burgess, Ayinde DeSilva, Justin Bell, Quinn Outebridge and Burgess' son Gianni although he is a little too young for the camp!
