Detroy Smith and Jaymo Durham took all of the Cuts wickets, Smith returning figures of six for 33 and Durham four for 42.

In the second innings, Social Club racked up 181 thanks to 43 from Dano Outerbridge despite Spencer doing the serious damage again, this time taking five for 51.

Cuts were left chasing 233 after lunch yesterday and crumbled to 196 all out to give Social Club the victory and keep them from the relegation trapdoor following completion of the three-match two-day season.

Dwight Basden smashed 91 and Tony Cheeseman scored 69 to help hosts Somerset to a nine-wicket victory over neighbours Somerset Bridge at Somerset in Third Division play.

Kirk Simons and Adrian Burrows topped Bridge?s batting on Saturday with scores of 28 and 27 respectively while Jordon DeSilva took three wickets for 38 and Cheeseman two for six.

Somerset?s formidable reply was speaheaded by Basden and Cheeseman with Maurico Bassett chippiing in with 40. Jermain Salaam and Donnie Charles each took two wickets for Bridge.

Bridge had more success at the wicket batting a second time with Corvett Lambert striking 50, his first half-century in a long career Scott Tucker hit 31 and Derek Hill 29.

DeSilva led the bowling with three for 19 and Reid Jones returned two for 16.

The home side needed just 28 to win, reaching their target easily with Bassett not out on 10 and Greg Maybury not out on 12.No details were available from the Second Division match between PHC and Warwick while the other Division Two game between Police and Devonshire Recreation Club was called off after Police were unable to field a team.
