Town injury woes continue
Ahead of tonight's rescheduled Premier Division match against Somerset at St. John's Field (9.00), current champions Dandy Town have added more names to their growing injury list.
Already suffering from the loss of stalwarts Carlos Smith, Devarr Boyles and new acquisition Janeiro Tucker, the Hornets will now be without Jahmeiko Marshall, Reggie Tucker and Curtis Azhar as they take on a new-look Somerset team, fresh from a a 13-1 drubbing of Commercial Division outfit Vasco Mariners
Somerset will be searching for their first league points of the season this evening.
Despite the injuries, Town coach Andrew Bascome remained optimistic with several youngsters waiting in the wings. "It's unfortunate, but it's all part of the game," said Bascome last night. "Obviously the injuries concern me, but we'll be alright."
