Trojans coach Trott heading `home'

Fifth-placed Somerset Trojans and fourth-placed Dandy Town clash in what shapes up to be a vital Premier Division match for both sides at St. John's Field tonight (9 p.m.).

But there'll be a special incentive for Trojans coach Mark Trott who heads back to his old stomping ground where he once enjoyed success as Town's top man.

Few local coaches have more pride than Trott and with Trojans so far enjoying no more than a mediocre season he'll be anxious to pull one over his former club.

However, the unpredictable Trojans might be hard-pressed to come away with all three points in what should be a close contest.

Town will be hoping to show they're better than the team that struggled to a 1-1 draw against Boulevard at the same venue on Wednesday night - a game in which their attack didn't come to life until the dying stages.

Somerset won't need reminding about their own lacklustre 1-1 draw with Devonshire Colts in their last game at White Hill Field last Sunday.

Tomorrow's action, meanwhile, sees just two Premier fixtures.

Leaders North Village will be hot favourites against Somerset Eagles at White Hill Field, although the visitors will have to show some improvement over their last performance - a 2-2 draw against Devonshire Cougars.

Eagles enter the game with some momentum, based on victory over St. George's in the FA Cup and Premier Division triumphs over Devonshire Colts and PHC in recent outings.

At Somerset, bottom club PHC face Boulevard who need maximum points to keep their title hopes alive.
