Tyler Butterfield remains in second place as the prestigious Tour de Guadeloupe reached the halfway mark.

Butterfield, in his second year with top French amateur team Vendee U, kept his second place in the general classification after the 170.2km fourth stage between Gosier and Saint-Fran?ois.

He remains four minutes and four seconds behind Martin Prazdnovsky with five stages left.
