Bermuda's Katura Horton-Perinchief finished 28th in preliminary competition at the World Diving Championships in Melbourne yesterday.

Horton-Perinchief was competing in the one-metre springboard event and scored 196.65 to finish ahead of seven opponents.

Only the top 12 qualified for the semi-finals. He Zi, of China won the event, with a score of 299.35.
