A goal from a free kick by substitute Kenny Thompson in the last minute of Saturday night's First Division clash at Somerset CC against the eastenders gave the Eagles this come-from-behind draw.

The point Eagles gathered combined with the 1-0 loss by second place X'Roads to Southampton Rangers yesterday enabled coach Thompson's team to move into first place in the tables.

St. David's went ahead 1-0 through Angelo Cannonier only to see Eagles draw level by the half when Danvers Seymour netted.

Otis Minors re-establised the slim lead for St. David's after 87 minutes only to see Thompson come off the bench in the last minute and direct the free kick home to knock the stuffing out of Andrew Bascome's squad.

Hamilton Parish 2

Prospect 1

At Lord's yesterday Parish kept their promotion hopes alive with this slim victory in a contest that saw all of the goals come in the second half.

John Richmond put Prospect ahead after 60 minutes only to see Parish, who had the better of the exchanges in the quiet first half, level through Teiko Lowe after 67 minutes.

Parish, for whom forward Jamie Smith missed two sitters in the opening half, came on strong as play progressed and got the deserved clincher through Joeki Fox after 76 minutes.

Prospect came close to levelling things near the end when Clifford Francis' free kick from 20 yards whisked an inich over the bar.

In other games Social Club edged last place BAA 2-1 while the game between Paget and St. George's Colts at White Hill was not played.
