Khano and the Revolution arrive in Bermuda today
MLS giants New England Revolution will play two friendlies against Bermuda's national team as part of their annual pre-season training trip.
The Revs arrive on the Island today and will meet Keith Tucker's team at the National Sports Centre this Saturday and next Wednesday. Both matches will kick off at 7 p.m.
Steve Nicol's side have made Bermuda their number one pre-season destination in recent years and recruited Khano Smith during their first visit in 2005, after he impressed while playing for the national team.
Smith is currently nursing a groin injury but will be making the trip with the rest of the Revs roster; including US internationals Taylor Twellman, Michael Parthurst, Pat Noonan and Grenadian ace Shalrie Joseph.
Coached by ex-Liverpool legend Nicol and former England striker Paul Mariner, the Revs will spend nine days in Bermuda and use the NSC as their training base.
Last year's beaten MLS Cup finalists will then head to Cancun, Mexico, for the second stage of their pre-season programme, before their opening game of the season against Houston Dynamo on March 29.
The curtain raiser at Gillette Stadium should be an extra spicy affair since Dynamo have triumphed over the Revs in the last two MLS Cups
