Tennis: Top seeds going strong

The 2008 Vitamin Water Tennis Tournament is approaching its climax, with most of the top seeds still going strong. In the Men's A competition, Andy Bray has made it through to the semi-finals, while James Collieson is into the quarters.

Collieson faces a tough match against one of Bermuda's top juniors Neil Towlson, but should come through to book his place in the semis as well.

Jenson Bascome has also booked his place in the last four, coming through a tough three-setter against Jacob Trott, 6-3, 5-7, 6-1, and with the Davis Cup trials only a week away, Bermudian tennis is looking in good health.

In the Ladies A contest. top seeds Erica Bove and Ashley Brooks are on course to meet in the final, with both progressing well in their respective halves of the draw.

In the Ladies B, Kim Burns and Gill Butterfield are going strong, with all the players performing true to form.
