Porgies continued their march to the top with a 3-1 triumph over Piranhas and Rockfish routed Tuna 4-0.
Snappers put pressure on Goldfish and recorded a 3-1 victory, led by Donald Redman's men's top series (559) and third high game (200).
In two other matches which ended on 3-1 scores, Mackerel topped Hinds and Dolphins beat Angel Fish.
The top five of 17 qualifiers in the Dorchester Realty Bakers Nine Pin No Tap tournament will play two games apiece on Sunday night beginning at 7.30 p.m.

In recent qualifying action Helena Rawlins and Traci Lambe almost won $200 for a 300 game. They produced nine strikes in a row and with the pressure on Rawlins in the tenth frame she had to settle for a 7-10 split. The pair ended with a 264 game.
Clem Lespere and Sterlin Smith picked up the night's prize money of $150 with a score of 1,516. In second place was Reggie Tavares and Joe Correia on 1,460 with Troy Darrell and Lloyd Wilson in third place on 1,444.
Buy and Sell scorched Social Club 25-5 in Barritt's Sportsmen's League action, but Sparks, with a team high series of 2,640 and second best game of 912, stole the spotlight with an 18-12 victory over Pembroke Juniors.
Mike Lambe compiled highest individual series (624) and game (247) to lead Sparks while team-mate Hank Rawlins posted second high game (214).
Juniors could console themselves with team high game of 919 and second high series of 2,570 behind the sterling play of Antoine Jones. Jones bowled third high game on 213.
Mini Forwarders defeated Warwick Reds 18-12, boosted by Randy Smith, who compiled second highest individual series of 569. Smith and his team-mates managed to produce third best series (2,566) and game (895).
Leading the way for Buy and Sell was Kevin Minors who posted a 566 series in their one-sided win over Social Club.
In the week's only other match Warwick Whites, led by Harold Trott's 212 game, defeated Young Blood 19-11.
Captain's Lounge shut out Last Minutes 4-0 in the Mixed Majors League, powered by Carl Reid's men's high series (640) and game (223). The team also compiled high series (2,258) and game (767). June Simons chipped in with second best women's series of 561.
Helena Rawlins, with women's best high series (563) and game (214) propelled Troublemakers to a 4-0 victory over Dolphins. In other matches, Strikers whitewashed Royals 4-0, Trojans defeated BS&G 3-1 and Dynamic 4 topped Mix Ups 2-2.
