Bermuda Schools Sports Federation administrator Clint Smith has recently been recognised as a Certified Athletic Administrator by the National Federation of
To earn this distinction it was stated that Smith had demonstrated the "highest level of knowledge and expertise in the field of interscholastic athletic administration''.
Smith is one of 318 interscholastic athletic administrators to attain this level.
The NIAAA is a national professional organisation consisting of more than 5,200 individual members. It is dedicated to promoting the professional growth of high school athletic administrators and preserving the educational nature of interscholastic athletics.
BOWLING BOW Pembroke Juniors demolished Warwick Whites 251 -11 to move within four points of top club Buy and Sell in the Mott's Sportsmen's League.
Juniors recorded the night's top game and series, 937 and 2750, as they showed little mercy on their lowly ranked opponents.
Meanwhile Buy and Sell similarly thrashed Mini Forwarders 221 -41 and now lead the league with 2791 ponts.
Third place Sparks kept up the pace when they brushed aside Young Blood 231 -31 and in the night's closest affair Warwick Reds got past Social Club 17-10.

POOL POO Vasco won the closest match ever played in the history of the Bermuda International Pool League when they edged a gallant Queens Club 194-193 last week.
Entering the final game ahead by six points -- 189-183 -- Vasco almost squandered the match when Queens' Greg Falzone beat Manuel Furtado 10-5, making his white ball in off three consecutive shots.
Earlier Paul Doidge and Al Alves led Vasco with 43 and 42 points respectively while Chance McLean, Trevor Mouchette, Ryan Kromer and Falzone finished with 40 or more for Queens.
Swinging Doors remained undefeated atop the tables after they blasted Bermuda Ladies 230-136 with Gary Bascome, Dennis Parsons, Craig Marks and Dion Berkeley each scoring 47 points.
High scorers for Ladies were Verda Burgess and Pam Pace with 38 points.
In other matches, second place Hamilton Parish maintained their position on account of a solid 229-140 victory over Mariners and Clint Aitkens registered 47 points to pace Robin Hood to a 200-173 defeat of Sandys Boat Club.
