BFA bring back top Brazilian

Marco Falopa has prompted Bermuda Football Association to bring the highly-rated Brazilian coach back to the Island.

A technical director of CONCACAF, Falopa will conduct a level two course at Saltus Grammar School from August 29 to September 5.

BFA vice president Aldwyn Savery, who is also chairman of the coaching committee, this week encouraged all coaches who took part in last year's level one course to take advantage of the upgraded course and register at the BFA offices as soon as possible.

"Bermuda is fortunate to be able to obtain the services of this fine coach for the second summer in a row. He is a very busy person, not just in the region but all over the world. It's just by luck that we were able to get him to fit us into his schedule again,'' said Savery.

"We were primarily influenced to invite him again because of the great success of last year's course, one that was well attended by our local coaches. When we saw our own so encouraged by an event like last year's, we in the BFA made it a priority to press for a continuation of the course and so we now we enter into this grade two level.'' The courses will be arranged after working hours from 6.00 pm. to 9.30 p.m. If the response by coaches is again good, the BFA will attempt to run an advanced FIFA course in the future.
