Aaron Pace was leading that first race but after a few laps he had to make a pit stop for some repairs. Burgess seized the opportunity to take over the top spot while Pace recovered to finish second.

Cory Smith, who missed the first moto because of bike problems, was on the line for the second race but Pace was unstoppable as he raced to victory. Pace and Smith broke away from the rest of the pack and the battle for first went back and forth between the two before Pace eventually won. Smith was second and Burgess third.

Smith was the third moto winner in the class for the day when he won the third moto after leading from start to finish. Pace was second for first overall for the day while Burgess was third.

Treadwell Nesbitt won the 125 C class with a first and two seconds while Ali Hatterley had a second, first and third and Wentworth Tucker two thirds and a first as this class also had different winners in each moto.

Jimmy Weaver won two out of three motos for the overall win in the 80cc class.

Aaron Cannonier and Jakai Brimmer were second and third for the day while Steven Panchaud, the 1997-98 champion, ended the day in fifth place.

With two rounds to go in the Pepsi Nationals, the 60cc class is tied between Sunday's winner Gary Cann and Anthony Grant after Cann had three wins.

Randy Munro won the 50cc class on Sunday with Jonte Smith second and Zahkie Iris third.

The next race day will be March 7, not February 28 as previously scheduled.
