Burrows beat off Matthew Durrant on retrogression in the 15-17 senior boys age group and just one stroke behind on 81 were Sean Dunkley and Colin Brown.

The 13-14 age group played at St. George's this week and despite the windy conditions, David Smith carded a fine four-over-par 66. He was followed by Jarryd Dillas on 70 and Anthony Smith and Steven Roy on 74.

The 12 and under age group played 11 holes at St. George's and Michael Watts took the honours with a 46, followed by Jamie MacMillan with a 48 and Andrew Osborne on 50.

The novices played six holes at Belmont and Blair Marshall took first place with a 34. Second went to Harry Schofield with 37, who pipped Cody Lima on retrogression.
