Chameleons get their revenge
Men's Hockey League leaders Chameleons exacted revenge for their first defeat of the season against Rebels a week earlier, by cruising to a convincing victory over the same opponents.
Steve Moreton pounced on a rebound after a flurry of shots to open the scoring for Chameleons.
The Reds doubled their lead when William Woods fired into the net from the top of the circle.
Moreton then grabbed his second goal, diving to convert a probing through-ball from Stuart MacKellar and Mark Finnegan's effort made it 4-0 by half-time.
Rebels had more luck after the restart and after Jonathan Evans had gone close, Simon Van de Weg converted a short corner to reduce the deficit.
Danny Stovell then earned a penalty for Rebels, but Wesley Scraders flicked it wide.
Polecats 0 Wasps 1 Scott DeCosta's goal just before half-time was enough to give Wasps maximum points.
DeCosta pounced to steer a cross into the net, though Polecats were unlucky not to share the spoils.
Earlier in the game, Lee Uddin had the chance to put Polecats ahead, but was denied by a fine stick save from Kevin Hill.
A Wasps side missing leading scorer Simon Farrington held out to win under sustained pressure from Polecats in the second half.
