At Belmont, tomorrow and Sunday, Bermuda Junior Golf Association hope to swell their coffers with the 20th annual Royal Gazette -sponsored Hole-in-One competition.

And at the Southampton driving range, run by Bermuda Golf Academy, Sandys Rotary will host the annual national long-distance drive contest in conjunction with a number of other activities.

Starting at 10.00 a.m., the long-drive competition will be divided into 11 divisions according to age and sex. Also on tap is a mini-golf competition with the day culminating with an exhibition by world-renowned trick golfer Noel Hunt at 6.00 p.m.

A former European Tour player, Hunt has opened three Ryder Cups with his unique display of trick shots and has been hailed as the world's best by such luminaries as Gary Player, Nick Faldo and Seve Ballesteros.

Belmont's hole-in-one tournament starts on both days at 9.00 a.m, with golfers eligible for a host of prizes decided by how close their tee shot finishes from the hole.
