cricketer was transferred to a general ward yesterday morning.
Marshall, 32, had been in the Intensive Care Unit since last Tuesday night when he was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after suffering a mild heart attack.
The Bailey's Bay and Bermuda national team player is now on a surgical ward, Memorial, and can accept visitors from other than his family members. Visiting hours are from noon to 8 p.m.
Marshall was named Bermuda captain for the Barbados tour, which leaves on Friday, but the Bermuda Cricket Board of Control is due to name a replacement in light of his condition.
