Menanson, who earlier defeated fourth seed Eldon Daniels, routed Roberts in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3, to set up a semi-final tie against Bermuda Davis Cup team member and number two seed, Jenson Bascome. Bascome earlier ousted Coral Beach teaching professional Eugene Simmons 6-3, 6-4.

Meanwhile, top gun Ricky Mallory had little difficulty in brushing aside Blair Rance 6-1, 6-0 to advance in the other bracket toward a semi-final match against Greg Frigerio, the third seed.

In the women's `A' division, Kelly Holland was forced to delve deep into her bag of tricks in order to overcome a tenacious Mary Giordano 6-2, 1-6, 6-2.

Men's `B' action saw Hamish McCallum defeat Howard Cross, while Quinton Burgess eased by Philip Sousa 6-1, 6-1.

Danielle Downey and Zina Edwards engaged in a three-set marathon on the women's side, with the former prevailing 5-7, 6-2, 6-3 to reach the final, where she'll square off against Giordano.

In men's doubles, sixth seeds Chris Harris and Kenneth Peiser defeated Andrew Kennedy and Stuart Smith, the third seeds, to pave the way for an intriguing semi-final against Mallory and Bascome, the top seeds.

The other semi-final has Eldon Daniels and Earl Leader teaming up against Frigerio and Mark Cordeiro.
