James to head golf trustees

was yesterday named new head of the committee in charge of running the three Government-run courses.
James will chair the board of trustees of the Port Royal, Ocean View and St George's courses.
He said at a press conference yesterday they should be made as easily available as possible to locals and visitors alike.
And he proposed a new organisation to cater for the needs of young golfers who were unable to get on to programmes run by the growing Bermuda Junior Golf Association.
The other members of the ten-member board are: Wendell Hollis, Gregory Swan, Andre Dill, Reid Young, John Phipps, Wendell Hassell, Wayne Soars Juliana Jack and Neville Tyrrell.
