Ocean Club Men's Invitational golf tournament yesterday with a quick victory over Germany's Thomas Hubner.

Vallis won six and five and will play Austin Eaton of Virginia in the semi-finals. Eaton snuffed out the hopes of Bermuda's Duncan McMartin four and three to earn his spot.

Meanwhile, defending champion Blake Marshall edged David Smith two up and will square off against David Braham of New York.

The final is set for the senior championship, with the familiar face of Dick Stimets once again among the finalists.

The Massachusetts resident secured his place with a three and two triumph over Pat O'Malley of Maryland and can successfully defend his title with a win over Edward Gaffey.

Gaffey denied Bermuda's Howard DeSilva two and one.

The junior semi-finals take place this morning, followed by an afternoon final, starting at 1.15. The senior final starts at 1.09 p.m.
