Messiah are the champions
Field with Messiah College of Grantham, Pennsylvania, finishing with the best overall team performance.
Because NCAA rules forbade the college teams from playing against each until August 23, the two Bermuda teams were involved in every match and played three matches each as the visiting teams played twice.
Messiah, with striker Crissy Barnett voted the most outstanding player of the tournament having scored three goals in two matches, won both their matches against the Bermuda teams.
On Saturday, Messiah College beat Bermuda A 1-0 in the opening match with Connecticut College hammering Bermuda B 7-0. Yesterday Bermuda A drew 2-2 with Connecticut and Gettysburg stopped Bermuda B 3-1.
Both Gettysburg and Messiah are NCAA Division III members and compete in the Middle Atlantic Conference while Connecticut College, also an NCAA Division III member, compete in the New England Small College Conference.
