Miles' gang breaks up combination

Miles Smith led the onslaught with a men's third high series of 578 while team-mates Rosie Bean had a women's third high series of 573 and high game of 225. Donna Amaral led the losers with a 555 series.

Bermuda Glass took advantage of the Combination's loss when they moved into first place with a 12-8 win over Terrible Four with Doug Hines rolling a 575 series. Rosesheene Ottley led the losers with a women's high series of 588 and second high game of 215.

Just four points behind the glass team are Pro Staff who beat East End Asphalt 12-8. Carlos Estravit tried in vain for the losers with a second high series of 579.

Amflites scored to a 11-9 win over Us Until. Leon Smith topped the scoring with a 592 men's high series and second high game of 205.

Get Togethers put it all together and beat Four Star Pizza 17-3 with Prudy Spriggs at the fore with a women's second high series of 584 and third high game of 212.

Woody Jones rolled a 640 men's high series and high game of 240 while team-mate Antoine Jones had a men's third high game of 223 as Pembroke Juniors defeated Social Club 16-11 in the Mott's Sportsmen's Bowling league last week.

Hank Rawlins had a men's second high series of 588 and fourth high game of 221 as Sparks had an easy time beating Warwick Whites 18-9. Hilton Hayward had a third high series of 574 for the losers while team-mate Harold Trott had a 565 series and second high game of 238.

Other games saw Warwick Reds edge Mini Forwarders 15-12 and Buy and Sell get over Young Blood by a similar score.
