Social Club run riot to go to top again
Social Club thanked Devonshire Cougars for keeping the top spot in the First Division warm for three days...then reclaimed first place with an emphatic victory over bottom team Paget.
A 2-1 deficit gave them a timely jolt as they ran riot in the second half at Bernard Park.
Tokia Russell and Michael Parsons scored two each while Jahma Charles, Dennis Russell and Erick Dunkley got one each. Paget's goals came from Sinclair Trott, Dennis Williams and Kevin Smith.
Ir.Rangers 5 St. George's 1 Ireland Rangers stayed in contention for promotion with a comfortable victory over St. George's at Malabar field as Jermaine Burrows hit a 13-minute hat-trick in the first half.
Burrows scored in the 13th, 20th and 26th minutes, with St. George's pulling one back in the 44th minute through Ryan Steede.
Burrows netted his fourth goal of the match in the 75th minute and Trevor Corday closed out the scoring in the 82nd. St. George's had defender Uroy Fox sent off in the 70th minute.
