BAA may have driven into their home encounter virtually remodelled, but left a dismantled and crippled wreck following their collision with the rampaging Red Devils.

A "reborn'' Dennis Robinson was once again the conductor aboard the Village Express, notching a first half hat-trick -- his second in as many games -- and making for a miserable Coca Cola First Division baptism for the Green Knights.

The home side's sponge-like defence could do little to stop the wrangling striker from weaving magic up front with consummate ease, while an inept attack seldom bothered Village's back four.

Standing as the victim -- and favoured target of the Village fans -- was Dwayne (Streaker) Adams, who departed Village prior to this season. Adams was turned into the role of a retriever, making eight lonesome journeys to the back of the net, four in each half.

However, it was neither Robinson nor his team-mates who initially aided Village in their quest.

BAA -- a bit too kind with the gracious host role -- spurred the visitors ahead in the 12th minute as BAA defender Adam Melvin rocketed a header into his own net past Adams after misjudging a swerving right-wing cross from Nakia Smith.

Thankful, but ready to make his own contribution was Robinson, who turned the match on its head with a virtual one-man act, scoring from an array of angles in the 21st, 28th and 43rd minutes.

His first came from a masterful flick as, with his back to the goal he was able to beat Adams at the far post with a touch-shot of genuine class.

"I knew where he was to begin with (at near post) and I took a quick look before going for the spot,'' said Robinson, as team trainers aided him in icing that precious left foot while sitting out the game's last few minutes.

"But I liked all of them (goals), they were all from good teamwork.'' Adams could do little about the second (the team's third) as Robinson planted a searing left-footed volley from 13 yards into the top, right corner.

The third came via the penalty spot 15 minutes later after another former Red Devil, Treadwell Walker, bulldozed an overlapping Arthur Simons in the area.

Possessing a 4-0 lead at halftime, Village may have wanted to bypass the break for fear of going cold, but there was no relenting on the part of head coach Robert Calderon's men, with the avalanche continuing for the second stanza.

Kacy Simons put his name among the goal-scorers with strikes in the 55th and 85th minutes, while Sean Dill (penalty 64) and Chris Sabir (79th) completed the misery for BAA.

Asked about the magnitude of the win and a total of 12 goals in two games a still cautious Calderon said: "We're not eight goals better than anybody, this game we just hit a purple patch.''
