Bermuda gave up two goals in each half of a match that was dominated by the home side from the outset. Mr. Shawn Goater hit a consolation effort for Bermuda late in the match.

Coupled with Canada's 1-0 win over Jamaica in Toronto yesterday, the loss drops Bermuda's into third place in Group B of the CONCACAF Zone second-round qualifiers.

Canada tops the group with four points while El Salvador, who avenged a 1-0 loss here two weeks ago, is in second place by virtue of a better goal difference than Bermuda on three points. Jamaica has two points from two draws and a loss.

Bermuda plays Jamaica in Kingston next Sunday before travelling to Vancouver to face Canada on November 15 and returning here to face the Canadians on December 6 to complete the second round. Match report -- Page 21.
