Alibi ran in difficulty last week when it lost its mast en route to the British Virgin Islands.

The fishing vessel Something Hot went out on Thursday to rendezvous with Alibi , which was some 170 miles south of Bermuda to tow her back to safety.

The yacht was expected in Bermuda on Saturday morning, but the tow proved more difficult than expected and she didn't arrive until 9 p.m. on Sunday.
