to officiate in the next round of the Under-17 Youth World Cup in El Salvador next month.

It isn't known yet which specific matches Crockwell will participate in or what role he will play, but the Class One FIFA-listed ref will be Bermuda's only representative at the tournament.

Bermuda Football Association vice president Aldwyn Savery said the BFA were delighted with Crockwell's appointment.

"When the General Secretary Mr. Sabir and I were in Trinidad and Tobago recently with the Bermuda under-17 squad we held talks with the secretary of CONCACAF regarding the possible involvement of our referees in competitions of this nature and we are now pleased to see a positive response,'' he said.
