Bascome's streak ends at 19
Harrisburg Heat fell to a 19-11 defeat at Wichita Wings. Playing their third game in as many days the Heat, who play in the National Professional Soccer League's American Conference, were tied at 8-8 with a quarter to go.
However, former Harrisburg midfielder Marcelo Fontana and Jason Farrell put Wichita in the driving seat at 12-8 and five further points sealed the game.
On Saturday the Heat played the first leg of the Wings double header, beating them 19-12 at their stadium, The Farm Show Arena.
Bascome and Bermudian team-mate Meshach Wade scored in the second quarter to set their side up for the victory.
On Friday Bascome hit six points in a 16-9 win over the Cleveland Crunch.
The Heat, who remain top of their conference, are in action again tomorrow morning when they travel to Detroit to take on the Rockers in a school day game.
