Bermuda Offshore Cruising Association's Mount Gay regatta on Sunday.
A total of 19 boats made the start line for the 151 mile course which took the fleet from Hamilton Harbour along North Shore to a buoy off Shelly Bay and back to the finish line off the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club.
Winds were generally light east-south-easterly at eight to 10 knots with occasional gusts up to 14 knots but with a threat of squalls.
A spinnaker start provided a colourful backdrop as the fleet surged down the harbour into the Great Sound.
Circe (Francis Carter) led the race from start to finish, with Wildcat (Peter Shrubb) and High Energy (Penny Simmons) always in close contention.
However, once the handicaps had been applied, the positions changed with Wildcat taking first place in Class I followed by Tonka (Paul Hubbard) in second and Circe in third.
In Class II, the adjusted results gave Tonka first place followed by High Energy and Circe in that order.
Greg Vasic, racing his boat Reckless for only the second time, found himself just behind the lead boats at the first mark. And although he slipped back during the race, he sailed well enough to win Class III, followed by Mtoto Two (John LaLone) and Delphinus (Neil Couper).
In the Cruising Class, George Cubbon in Windrush secured his second victory in two races. He was followed by Free Falling (Ed Faries) and Temptation (Claude Guay).
Three J24s participated in the regatta. Thunda (Michael Emery) was first across the line but was later disqualified after missing a mark on the course.
Tempest (John Musson) was then declared winner with Kiwi-Bye (Alan Parris) taking second place.
The next scheduled BOCA event will be the Longtail Weekend on July 2, 3.
