Butterfield, a seventh grade student, has placed first in every race, shattering course records along the way. He set a school record of 13.45 in a tri-meet against Fenn and Pike schools and clocked a course record 12.32 at Fay school in a combined meet with Brimmer and May school.
Sixth-grader Pewter has also added greatly to the team's success with consistently good performances, continuing to improve on his personal best course times. In a tight race against Nobles School recently, he scrambled to a close fourth place in 16.00.
