FIFA's monthly World Rankings, released yesterday, placed Bermuda at number 159 -- a drop of two places since last month. The national side hasn't played in two and a half years and that inactivity allowed them to be passed by Lesotho and Kazakstan.

Meanwhile, Russia, boosted by a 4-0 victory over Cyprus on September 1, moved up three places to fifth while Spain tumbled three places and almost out of the top ten.

The biggest mover among the top 20 was Japan, which climbed six spots to 20th, helped by a 1-0 victory over Asian Games champion Uzbekistan on September 11.

Colombia headed the second ten, with England up one to 12th, followed by Mexico, Portugal, Romania, Zambia, South Africa, the United States, Ghana and Japan.

The biggest fall was by Chile, who were pounded 4-1 by Colombia at Barranquilla on September 1 and slipped five spots to 26th.

There were no changes at the top of the list, with Brazil in top spot for the 30th consecutive month, followed by Germany.
