Mr. Brown, a well-known former television sports reporter, received news of his firing in a letter from BFA president Mr. Charles Marshall. Mr. Brown's lawyer, Mr. Richard Hector, said the main issue surrounded Mr.

Brown's changing of the door locks at the association headquarters on Cedar Avenue.

It is understood legal action may follow with Brown possibly claiming unfair dismissal.
