BFA fires Brown

Mr. Brown, a well-known former television sports reporter, received news of his firing in a letter from BFA president Mr. Charles Marshall. A press release said: "With immediate effect, the employment of Mr. Joe L. Brown as the administrative assistant of the Bermuda Football Association has been terminated. See Page 19 for full story.

Mr. Brown's lawyer, Mr. Richard Hector, said the main issue surrounded Mr.

Brown's changing of the door locks at the association headquarters on Cedar Avenue.

It is understood legal action may follow with Brown possibly claiming unfair dismissal.
