benefit to the tune of $200 each time a batsman in this year's Cup Match hits a six. The firm will make a donation to the charity in the name of the player scoring the runs and his club.
"The idea came from a suggestion by one of our Hamilton staff, Malcolm Raynor,'' said spokesman John Instone. "We chose the Bermuda Society for the Blind this year because for them Cup Match is an audio rather than a visual experience.'' Cable & Wireless is hoping to make the charitable donation an annual event, Instone said.
