Couper -- the daughter of Peggy and Colin Couper and attending school in New England -- placed first in the high jump, 800 metres and 1,500 metres.

She came from behind to win the 800 metres to outlean a rival at the wire and finish in 2:24.84. She outleaped the high jump field by clearing four feet, 10 inches, just shy of her personal best of five feet, and completed the 1,500 metres in 4:59.80.
