All four sides have lost the opening games in their respective groups as North Village and Dandy Town topped those divisions with maximum points from two matches.

Wolves play Devonshire Colts in tonight's 7.00 o'clock opener while Vasco take on Southampton Rangers in the 9.00 p.m. fixture.

Results so far have left Wolves and Vasco with one goal advantages over their opponents and thus they need only draws tonight to clinch places in the next round on goal difference.

Because of their 3-0 loss to North Village, compared with Vasco's 4-2 defeat, Rangers must beat Vasco in order to move ahead of them.

It's the same scenario in group B where Wolves have a slim advantage over Devonshire Colts. Wolves went down 2-1 to Dandy Town while Colts lost 3-1, which means Colts will now have to beat Wolves to advance to the next round.

Wolves will be hoping to have former Colts player Mark (Beaver) Ray in their line-up after he missed Sunday's match because of work commitments. If he does play, it will be Ray's first match against Colts since leaving them two years ago. He joined Fire Service in the Commercial League for one season before signing for Wolves.

But Wolves will need to be sharper in front of the goal after they missed a host of chances in losing to Vasco on Sunday. Their defence also looked suspect whenever Vasco piled on the pressure.

Both Wolves and Colts were involved in 1-0 results in the Premier Division where Colts got a late goal from Aljame Zuill to beat Rangers while Wolves were edged out by Vasco 1-0 after missing a second half penalty when captain Anthony Thomas' spot-kick was saved.

Rangers will have to score their first goal of the season if they are to retain any hope of staying in the competition.
