Cup ties set for tonight

yesterday Bermuda Football Association used the day to reschedule, following Sunday's postponements.

Only two of the eight matches survived the heavy rain with Somerset Eagles and St.David's clinching the first two quarter-final places.

Three matches have been rescheduled for tonight, with those teams involved in the Dudley Eve tomorrow having their games set aside until the new year.

Sunday's planned double-header at Devonshire Rec. will go ahead tonight at the same venue with promotion seeking Wolves and Somerset meeting at 7.00 and cup holders Boulevard taking on neighbours Devonshire Cougars in the 9.00 clash.

Another all-Second Division match is scheduled for PHC Stadium tonight where Social Club meet Hotels at 9.00. That will follow a Crystal Palace Cup clash between PHC and Dandy Town at 7.00 p.m.

The matches still to be rescheduled are Vasco v Southampton Rangers, North Village v Dandy Town and Devonshire Colts against PHC.

Four of those teams are involved in the Dudley Eve Trophy first round tomorrow night so the matches will take place in the new year. The quarter-finals are not scheduled until February 16, but two more Second Division sides will reach the last eight tonight.
