Four Ball Championships at Port Royal with a second round score of 70 yesterday at Port Royal.

The pair lead first day leaders Dennis Connors and Dan Rourke by two strokes while Henry Ascento and Bill Pitt Jr. remained in third place but slipped off the pace after their 73 which dropped them four strokes behind the leaders.

In the women's first round yesterday, defending champions Joan Connors of the United States and local Judithanne Outerbridge lead Bermuda's Madeline Jacobs and visitor Janina Jacobs by one stroke, 73 to 74.

Bermudian pair Pat Morgan and Cindy Semos are in contention after their opening round 78 which put them in fourth place.
